if im wrong again please tell me what beat it is as i would like to know. that and in effect as i can never quite tell what beat that is aswell

Thinking about "In Effect", that tune uses

James Brown - Funky Drummer

on the intro, hit hard with the BHAMM-BHAMM-BHAMM which thinking's, gotta be the:

Big Daddy Kane - Raw

albeit low bit sample rate, overdriven & compressed etc. Yeah, whole tunes made up of these two breaks

alot of people are getting confused where this very popular rave break (ie, nebular2's antheama, sound of the underground, trip to trumpton) came from, it's not purely from U' MC's Chorus Line,

it's from this Let The Warriros Dance thing. Note it's at time 00:30 the Right or Left channel (I forget which one) was sampled and lots of warm reverb was added, then the whole break was pitced up.

but please don't credit ME for this finding, some guy on the B2VOS forum dug this up so if you wanna start giving out cookies, find the guy on that forum haha.

Ok, I'm confused...

Lucille Brown and Billy Clark - Both Eyes Open

Maskman & The Agents - One Eye Open

Two different songs but the breaks sound the same...

I can't hear the difference.

One of the two is used in Manix - Back To Burn and Tom & Jerry - Sun On My Head.

But I'm not sure. Could anyone clear this up?

You could post in here http://www.rolldabeats.com/forum/index.php?/topic/36794-lucille-brown-billy-clarke-both-eyes-open-clip/ and ask...
