Music videos for rolldabeats?

We're about to try out something on rolldabeats to see if we can put streaming music videos on the site along with the listings.

 

Gonna try it out and see how it works but the main problem I have is tracking down the vids in a decent format. I have a few and they'll do just fine but I know there are loads of old skool and dnb videos out there that we could use.

 

Can anyone help out at all? I know that this would be something that would be cool for users of RDB and we should be able to hook it up easily enough so why not?

There's a thread on DOA somewhere which is just a massive list of oldskool/jungle/drum and bass music videos - pretty much all Youtube - would that be any use?

I've found a few on there but don't know of any with live links still in place. The old vid threads on there are handy to find out what exists so any you can find would be wicked.

As Haste said, the main thread has mainly dead links (which have now been removed by Robotone). Currently uploading the vids I contributed on there... (Finally, as when that thread was active, YouTube didn't support XviD!).

Dunno if this will be of any help, but apparently MTV (USA) has just made their entire stock of music videos available online:

(I've been told it's not available for users outside the US -- perhaps a US proxy would work)

 

Browsing through some of the Dance ones, I saw a few Aphex Twin ones and a couple others I don't remember. If we don't already have em, someone should rip them :smile:
