sumo Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 was listening to an old grooverider tape from the kiss fm days at the weekend and heard an early version of sonar which had no tramen, but an extremely funky apache with a better reese melody too. Shame it never saw the light of day. IDed by Dara as "Monkeys" - see post below Quote
sumo Posted July 20, 2004 Author Report Posted July 20, 2004 will try and get it off the tape in th next few weeks man. Quote
Guest _Trivia_ Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 The Remix with the stomping, heavy, heavy, trancy beat behind it, which I take is the unreleased remix man it's the fookin nuts - One that Prototype should seriously think about releasing! If anyone has this on White I'd pay good cash. Quote

Dara Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 was listening to an old grooverider tape from the kiss fm days at the weekend and heard an early version of sonar which had no tramen, but an extremely funky apache with a better reese melody too. Shame it never saw the light of day. According to Trace this was a different track called Monkeys which was made before Sonar and was originally gonna come out on Prototype until Rider heard Sonar and chose that instead. Quote

Guest StoneFace Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 I made the other thread about this tune, and yes it is the same tune. Funnily enough i ripped the tune off the tape with the purpose of putting it on here, but you beat me to it. My clip is better quality, so here you go: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G409MC3N It was a corking night and i actually remember Rider dropping this.......quality. Quote
