Ornette Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 [mod edit: this is an unreleased DJ Ron tune from 1993] Taken from a Kool FM DJ Ron mixtape recorded from 5th December 1993, I've got this tune that I'm certain is 4 Hero. However it seems to have never been released. I've checked the Golden Age EP's, the Parallel Universe album, and as many other tunes as I could, but nothing turns up anywhere. Do you know what, I was always 100% convinced it was 4 Hero or at least Reinforced related. (those 'rare groove' band hits on the breakdown clearly seemed to me to be of the Reinforced ilk.) However in the moment prior to posting I suddenly felt there was a good possibility that it was actually a DJ Ron production instead... Of course when I say 4 Hero. I am of course putting in context of their late 1993/early 1994 era - the Parallel Universe era - certainly nothing like their more recent output OR their earlier "Journey From The light" type material. We really can't post tunes here just guessing at what they are...this needs to be positively IDed first so should have been posted in tune IDs Quote

The set is sublime, and there's a few unreleased tunes there - such as the superior, unreleased ORIGINAL mix of DJ Ron's "Dangerous", a 'Sade' version of Code Red, and a couple of Dillinja tunes that I think are unreleased but might be from the Imperial Stix EP (I've never listened to that). Kenny Ken doesn't mention the title, but he says it was a tune Ron made about a year ago and had no plans to release :sad: . Quote
