I recorded a show on Radio 1 which was broadcast the week before the One In The Jungle pilots started in 95. It's a pre-recorded show hosted by MC Navigator and features various people from the jungle scene talking about the scene, the history and their experiences. The music throughout the show covers the topics they're talking about as a kind of history of jungle.

MC Navigator 13.07.1995

Note - audio above starts from track 3 in the tracklist below.

1) Original DJ Vibes & Hellrazor - Future Beats II [Breakthrough]
...

Right, ok just checking in on this -
Going through some old magazines and wanted to cross reference a couple of things,

I see in Eternity magazine #33, August/Sept(?) 1995 it mentions about this:
"BBC Radio 1 FM
The Jungle show's entitled 'Now That's What I call Jungle' has been on the airwaves from 13th July. Radio 1 Thursday's 9pm has, to my knowledge, received an excellent response.
When I tell people about the BBC's interest in Jungle, they seem to already know about it, so the word is spreading. The show ended on the 31st August, which I'm sure you'll agree was too brief a period to get any solid following.
If you want to express you opinions on the show, whether good or bad, and are keen to see the show on for a longer period of time, call the BBC on 0171 580 4468, and ask for the duty office to put your comments forward.
Jungle is large!"

I wondered then, if this was the actual title for that original run - and not 'One In The Jungle', but a check on genome indicates otherwise:
Now That's What I Call Jungle - Thu 13th Jul 1995, 21:00 on BBC Radio 1 England
https://genome.ch.bbc.co.uk/d15b8fd6a0b043c09fcf5d3031be1278
"Launching Radio 1's summer One in the Jungle series, this programme looks at what has been popularly billed as "the most exciting music to have come out of Britain since punk", checking out the development and culture of the drum 'n' bass music."

There's also then a ref in Atmosphere magazine #30, March/April(?) 1996 stating thus:
"Radio One
Starting on Friday 19th April Radio 1 will be hosting a 2 hour drum & bass show every friday from 10pm - 12 midnight. The first show will be live from D.O.P.E. in Leeds with LTJ Bukem, Peshay and  Mowgli. Just in case you've forgotten, the frquency is 97 -99FM.
"

Genome ref:
One in the Jungle - Fri 19th Apr 1996, 22:00  on BBC Radio 1 England
https://genome.ch.bbc.co.uk/1fd1931ad1a24dba869b0e2da6d8dda5
"Radio 1's acclaimed jungle series is back for a second run. MC Det is at Cafe Mex in Leeds, in a night recorded as part of last week's Radio 1 Sound City, with DJs Mowgli, Peschay and LTJ Bukem."

There's some detail on this in the Wha's Up section in Atmosphere magazine #40, Sept/Oct(?) 1997:
"One On Tour
After a long run with their Friday night shows on Radio 1, One in the Jungle have decided to dedicated all of October's shows to live broadcasts across the country ... The studio shows will be back on 7th November at its usual time.
"

Some detail on the locations:
- 3rd was at Manga @ La Belle Angel, Edinburgh
- 10th was at Ruffneck Ting @ Trinity Centre, Bristol - "with DJs Kenny Ken & Dazee"
- 17th was at Spider @ University of Northumbria - was meant to feature DJ Trace instead of Danny Breaks
- 24th was at Steppaz Convention @ Beachcomber, Brighton
- 31st was at Source @ Zodiac, Oxford

Some of this is already given in the linked posts.

There's also an advert for the Steppaz Convention nights in the same issue incidentally, detailing this
