OK... this one was sampled by Ash and Vern for their anthem on Tearin'.

 

They took everything directly from the original tune, which is a sound killer from 1989 on King Jammy's. Never seen it on 45 - it's featured on the 'Sound Clash '89' album and is over a modified version of the 'Chinatown' riddim*

I say 'kind of' cos they obviously got a dubplate voiced to get the mention of 'jungle' in. Otherwise it sounds as if they took everything directly from the original tune, which is a sound killer from 1989 on King Jammy's

 

It's not a voicing. The jungle sample you're talking about isn't Courtney Melody. It's from an entirely different source. :wink:

If it has been listed then it hasn't been listed under the names 'Courtney Melody' or 'Squeeze' or 'Kill a soundboy with ease' as I searched.

 

The 'Jungle' sample. I wasn't talking about the 'this is jungle' vocal, its been a while since I heard the tune and I was sure there was some Courtney vocal mentioning jungle... turns out there isn't, so that tune is actually the source for all of the main vocal.
