Definitely, the vocal came in right before an amen drop. I want to say it was something on Labello Blanco or Liftin' Spirits, but fuck knows really. My jungle knowledge is all covered in cobwebs
It sounds like a completely different tune spliced together with the original Old Skool Ting! Wonder why Rebel didn't just make this a separate tune, it's wicked
Ah I see -- check out this thread for details. The old FTP info is no good anymore, so you'll just have to e-mail your stuff directly to haste for now.
Well you can attach files directly to your post if you want; to do that you have to choose "More reply options" at the bottom-right of the quick reply box. Alternately, you could upload it to a site like www.zippyshare.com and then post the link back in here!
The rapper in the second tune sounds like Heather B. That's about all I got for you That beat at 1:46 is mental If you ever track down an ID for it, please post it in here!
It's really close, but I'm not convinced....Something about the end of it sounds not quite right! Very tough to call though For reference, here's a link to the part of Demon's Theme where the vocal comes in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Q6D0CX3C9dE#t=144s
The links are transparent, though, in the sense that they all contain the catalogue numbers of the releases. So even though the links are broken, they contain everything you'd need to know to find the tunes!
Is the Ron tape the one where Moose keeps spelling Roast as "R-O-S-T"? For me, these tapes represent the pinnacle of the "golden era" (or whatever you want to call it) of jungle... simply amazing tunes. JJ, any chance of seeing these pop up on Deep Inside the Oldskool?
The "owwoaah" sample at 4:18 (same as the DJ Seduction tune) was sampled in some jungle tune, but I can't remember what. Something on Propa Talent maybe?
