Dan J Posted December 16, 2004 Author Report Posted December 16, 2004 "on the label of Break The Limits #10 it says "M Edwards & M Tanur :AKA Break The Limits". " i've seen MC Tanur aka Bay B Kane on a coupla plates . .presumed it was an MC pseudo or something :? so it seems Bay B Kanes real name might be M.C. Tanur :?: Quote

thijs Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 if i understood correctly, the big boss (brillo) has a daughter named 'chanel' who was born in '96. Quote
Ornette Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 Couple more regarding Bay B Kane: Mel Tanur should be crossed out as member of Nu-Matic. Only the first EP (XLT027) did he have involvement with. The next ones (XLT031 & XLT037) were M. Edwards on his own The EP came out on XL and we toured all over the UK doin PAs and promotions... Well, it was in fact the end of “Break The Limits” and the end of an era…so we split everything down the middle. I let Matt take over the XL contract and Nu-Matic and I took over what was once our studio With that in mind, I'd say for Mission Of 1 to be linked as a Mel Tanur alias. The name does tie up with the story above, of Bay B Kane going it alone. Ref: http://blogtotheoldskool.com/?p=52 Quote
