The_Manipulator
all three are etched vinyl. Could you be a bit more specific? Don't know any of them, but as all 3 have tracks listed for the A and B side, how can it be etched :?: I mean, does it have the 2 tunes on 1 side and the other side is etched? Does one of the sides have an enlarged 'label' part and is that etched? Is the tune very small in the middle and the outter ring etched? Does one of the sides have an enlarged 'label' part and is that etched? Is the tune very small in the middle and the outter ring etched? i only saw THE0XXX and that one goes like the track on B side is very short (~2 minutes) and is pressed on the outer ring. the inner ring (the larger part of the records surface) is etched - it has some kind of a picture on it. i remember something like a mermaid, drawn quite ugly but i might be wrong anyway, tarzan has to correct the track titles on THE0XXX! A side is the original version, B is "DJ Sifu & Canis 2 Step 3Mix" (have a look at discogs)

Phokus
Green http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=22519 It would appear that all the recent Commercial Suicide releases are on coloured vinyl. I have only got the Amit one -- does anyone have any of the others to confirm?
haste
http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...release&id=6958 Some copies on clear vinyl
geist
yeah recent commercial suicide stuff - the releases leading up to the 'no one is listening' lp - are colored http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=24677red see through http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=21947deep sky blue see through http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=22519i am almost positive is green see through. I'm only saying "i'm almost positive' because i don't have my copy of this in front of me. But the other two I am looking at right now. I also have a promo of this release, which is black (regular) vinyl then like phokus said comm suicide 17 is white vinyl, and comm suicide 20 is "clear tan" (I had listed it as clear in the clear vinyls thread... i guess it is clear but with some opacity to it)
geist
http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...release&id=6403 my copy has disc 1 (five tones/big shot) with popsicle-orange color. Not see thru disc 2 (hydro/rocket) is popsicle yellow color. not see thru. the etchings are what it says in the tarzan listing, and i bought it at shop in a generic black sleeve/record jacket but with a rectangular, color 'cyndicut ep' sticker on the record jacket, so i don't know if it was the promo release or regular release..... The_Manipulator
I'd suspect that "clear vinyl" would normally mean transparent (white). "clear black"... well, I do have a record where I can actually see through, even though it's black...
geist
well, from your list tarzan, the n20 release (Hannibal/kill you too) is officially (according n8loc who runs n20) "chronic smoke-color vinyl". To describe it, it is clear enough where if I hold it up i can see someone's face through it, but it is wispy and greyish black at the same time (faintly)."clear black" is probably good enough, but at the same time n8loc has pretty specific color names for many of his colored releases for example "kodak gold" (because he likes photographic hot asian women for his label promotion), and "shotgun blast to the face" or "chronic smoke" (because of the strong hip hop/o.g./battle ethos of the label)
