Wasn't the original 12" title "Horny Mutant Jazz" "Mutant Revisted" is the original title, but arn't we striving for consistancy, when we know that it is a further remix of "Horny Mutant Jazz"? Otherwise, don't you think it should be retitled to "Mutationz" to concile with the other 100's of re-remixes? http://www.rolldabeats.com/search/title/mutationz
Phokus
Original should definitely be Horny Mutant Jazz. If anything, the first trace remix should be called Horny Mutant Jazz (Rollers Instinct remix). After that, it kind of lost any connection with T Power - it had changed so much that it was pretty much Trace's tune by then.
haste
I checked on my vinyl and it just said "Mutant Jazz", I had thought that it was called "Horny Mutant Jazz" as well but it appears that it's not!! I didn't get into the whole renaming thing of the Trace remixes but, yeah, I think it might be fair enough to at least name the remix on Emotif - Mutant Jazz (DJ Trace Mutant Revisited Remix) or something like that? Like Phokus said, though, it could just as easily be left as it is as it was pretty much a different tune by then edit: Pic of the label from discogs http://www.discogs.com/image/R-32095-1073965056.jpg
haste
http://www.rolldabeats.com/search/title/the/sound/of/music These really should be listed as "Gonna be Alright" as the track name. Ornette
http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/razors_edge/razors002 The release should really specify that its a VIP remix, although my database & Discogs both indicate that the label only does say 'remix'. The thing is its completely different to the remix that appears on http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/deadly_vinyl/d4 "VIP" seems a good prefix; all those Razor's Edge releases were themed as VIP remixes of previous Metalheads releases wern't they (yes but wasn't DDS a Deadly Vinyl release and etc blah drone nit-pick... ) Both remixes, nevertheless, are certainly excellent.
